We began working with Coast Apparel to help them grow their business within the college demographic—their target market. We were tasked with the following: 1) developing a more strategically grounded brand image, 2) developing a completely overhauled interactive experience and online store, and 3) increasing market share by acquiring new customers, and retaining and growing current customers.
By implementing a radically improved strategic website and a more targeted and dynamic brand image, we were able to position Coast to achieve sizable traction and growth within the vast sea of college students based on their quality line of apparel products and perceived aspirational lifestyle promise to students: i.e. - a relaxed, casual, carefree and leisure-filled life that centers around friends and good times. The new web site was designed to be much more SEO/SEM friendly in order to make it work and "sell” Coast more aggressively and effectively. We also significantly elevated the brand image and design/messaging of Coast to portray the company in a light that is more engaging, relevant and compelling to college students.
Bottom line: in less than a year, we have significantly expanded Coast’s qualified prospect/customer base by re-developing and enhancing the interactive experience. Best of all, sales are up and the word is spreading faster in targeted collegiate circles.
